Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and tear down event equipment.
- Provide stellar DJ and Emcee entertainment at events.
- Announce all formalities, introductions, and announcements as the Emcee at events.
- Play radio-edited music.
- Communicate and work with clients, event vendors, and CFP staff in preparing and executing the entertainment experience.
- Troubleshoot lighting and sound equipment issues.
- Work with other vendors with each event to ensure excellence a proper execution.
- Pre-event planning for event logistics and music programming.
- Assist in load in/load out.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must have availability on Saturday & Sunday (Fridays are a plus).
- Confidence with speaking to large crowds.
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time
- Must be able to attend monthly team meetings (Once-a-month).
- Must be able to lift 50+ pounds.
- Attentive to detail.
- Ability to work with all styles of crowds, including children, teens, adults, and seniors.
- Punctual and deliver excellent customer service.
- Open to working with a wide variety of music.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred But Not Required
- Having your DJ equipment.
- Experience with working with sound, DJ, or lighting equipment.
- Experience in the wedding industry.
- Event experience as an MC or DJ.
- Availability on Fridays or during the week.
Compensation & Perks

- Competitive Pay: Earn between $25 – $75/hr or $250 – $900/day based on your experience, equipment, and professionalism, drive, and willingness to grow.
- Paid Training: Get started with confidence! Our CFP DJ Training Program ensures you’re set up for success, earning $17 – $21/hr during training.
- Tips: Some events include tips—a little extra appreciation straight from happy clients.
- Bonus Pay: for Additional Tasks.
